Hi, I’m Jason, a passionate and experienced English teacher with 17 years of helping students achieve their language goals. I’m a native English speaker from the United States, but I’ve lived in Brazil for the past 17 years, which has given me a deep appreciation for diverse cultures and perspectives that I bring into my teaching.

I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership, which have both shaped my teaching philosophy and approach. My science background gives me a methodical and analytical perspective, while my expertise in educational leadership has enhanced my ability to guide and mentor students effectively.

I’m TEFL/TESOL certified and have had the privilege of working in both private English schools and at an American School in Brazil from 2007 to 2019. During my time at the American School, I took on several roles, including teacher, coordinator, and principal for middle and high school. These experiences helped me refine my teaching skills and lead other educators in best practices, ensuring effective and engaging learning environments.

For the last 7+ years, I’ve focused on online instruction, working with students from all over the world, including Brazil, Canada, China, France, Japan, Spain, Turkey, and Vietnam. My approach is tailored to meet each student’s unique needs, whether it’s preparing for exams like TOEFL or IELTS, improving business communication for international work, or building confidence in everyday English conversations.
